Mohd Badhri Radzi, or better known as Piya, is a well-known name among fans of the local football scene. Aside from his stint in the Harimau Malaya team, the footballer from Kelantan was also the captain of Kelantan F.C (The Red Warriors). After leaving TRW in 2019, it appears that he’s no longer tied to any football clubs.

However, Malaysians were left in shock after they discovered the appearance of the legendary football player recently. As seen in a viral video posted by TikToker Zainuddin Ishak, some assumed that Piya has been living on the streets! “It saddens me to see the condition of this football legend,” the caption reads.

In the post, the original poster also called for the state football association to take into account the welfare of unfortunate players like Piya. However, before this speculation escalated, it was revealed that the photo was actually taken from the movie “Satu Hari Sebelum Raya”. In the film, Piya made a cameo appearance as a homeless man.

The 40-year-old athlete also shared a snippet from the film on his Instagram, where he showed off his acting chops. Scrolling through the comments, Piya’s acting in the movie was met with positive remarks from his fans and followers. “Can I ask for your autograph? You’re now a famous celebrity,” one fan commented. Fellow local footballer wrote, “You look very smart!”
