As exciting as touring the world can be, plenty can also go wrong. Recently, South Korean singer Kang Daniel suffered losses when a truck carrying his concert equipment, costumes and merchandise was broken into and stolen. Prior to that, he was forced to cancel a show after allegedly being scammed by an organiser.
K-pop boy band THE BOYZ (더보이즈) are currently facing issues of their own during their THE BLAZE world tour. Unfortunately, the group have had to inform fans that the tour will end earlier than planned. Here’s what happened:

Yesterday (Thursday, 25th September), THE BOYZ’s agency, 100 Label, released an official statement informing fans that their scheduled concerts in Macau (11th October) and Taipei (25th October) had been cancelled due to “local circumstances”. “We deeply apologise for having to deliver this news,” the statement read. The tour will now conclude in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 8th November, with no further shows to be added.
The news has since sparked outrage among fans, who were shocked by both the sudden cancellations and the early conclusion of the world tour. Many expressed disappointment, noting that the initial announcements had promised more dates would be added. Others criticised the agency, accusing it of deliberately sabotaging THE BOYZ by cancelling shows and making last-minute venue changes during the US leg of the tour.

Some sympathised with fans who had already purchased tickets and booked accommodation to see the idols in Macau and Taipei. It is also worth noting that this will be the group’s last tour before two members begin their mandatory military service. Thankfully, the Malaysia date, 18th October, is still set to go ahead as scheduled – for now.
