Not only were fans devastated by the sudden cancellation of Mandopop star Luhan (鹿晗)’s concert in Kuala Lumpur had been cancelled, but they were also disappointed that the initial notice was released only in Mandarin, meaning many non-Mandarin speakers were unaware of the cancellation. However, the organiser has since issued a follow-up statement in English.
Details of the refund process were shared over the weekend, but what fans probably didn’t expect was that they would not only receive a full refund for their ticket purchases, but also for their flight and accommodation bookings. Here’s everything you need to know:

On Sunday (12th October), the official Season 4 and Luhan Studio Instagram pages issued a joint statement once again apologising to fans for the cancellation of Luhan’s concert due to the artist’s health. The agency announced that full refunds would be issued to everyone who purchased concert tickets via the official ticketing partners, but that’s not all.
Usually, fans would only receive refunds for their concert tickets, while those who had booked flights or accommodation for the day of the show sadly won’t be able to get their money back — especially once the cancellation date had passed. However, to make up for the idol’s inability to perform and out of consideration for fans, Luhan’s agency announced that compensation for flights and accommodation will also be provided. All details on how to claim your refunds are shown in the guide below:

Not long after the announcement was shared, fans were overjoyed, praising Luhan and his team for being extremely considerate of those who might be financially struggling and needed their money back as soon as possible. Others urged local and international organisers, as well as K-pop agencies, to take note and follow the former EXO member’s example of how to show appreciation towards fans.
It’s heartwarming to see how much Luhan cares for his fans, and that he and his team are personally overseeing the refund process. We hope this gives everyone confidence that the singer will make it a point to perform in Malaysia on a future tour.
