Earlier this year, F4 fans were delighted by the Taiwanese boy band’s surprise reunion at MAYDAY’s concert. After much speculation, the group had confirmed the rumours of an anniversary tour – and the rumours of one member dropping out.
Over the weekend, B’in Music announced details of F4’s reunion tour, “F Forever Star City World Tour”. The first show will take place from 19th to 22nd December 2025 (Friday to Monday) at the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena. Tickets for the four-day show will go on sale on 10th December 2025 (Wednesday).

Sadly, the concert will feature only three F4 members as B’in Music confirmed that Ken Chu (朱孝天) won’t be participating in the group’s tour and comeback. Previously, there were rumours that F4’s management dismissed the singer from F4’s reunion plans over disagreements. However, the real reason why Ken isn’t part of the reunion plans remains a mystery.
Instead, taking his place is MAYDAY’s (五月天) frontman Ashin (阿信), who will join the remaining F4 members at the Shanghai show. Given the different lineup, the quartet have decided to use the group name F Forever, rather than F4. B’in Music also shared an explanation for the new name, saying that the F represents “Faith, Friends, Fans, Family and Fixed stars”.
Additionally, the quartet dropped a new single featuring singer Jay Chou (周杰伦), titled “Forever Forever”. The track is composed by Jay Chou, with lyrics from Ashin. The music video for the song was released on 5th December 2025 (Friday) and has already accumulated over 14 million views as of today (Monday, 8th December 2025).

Fans have reacted to the new song and reunion tour, expressing mixed feelings. While some were happy that F4 is going back on tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary with fans, many lamented Ken’s absence. Nevertheless, some said they look forward to seeing what the group has in store for their comeback.
