If you’ve been to FamilyMart lately, then you’ve probably noticed their new Pokémon theme packaging, snacks and even desserts. Trainers everywhere were delighted to see their favourite Pocket friends all around the store and we can also confirm that their Gengar’s Treat Sofuto ice cream and milkshake taste amazing!
Speaking of desserts, FamilyMart decided to add one more flavour to their Sofuto lineup and who better to represent the whole Pokémon brand than Pikachu? Here’s everything you need to know about the new cold treats:
Earlier today (Wednesday, 20th March), FamilyMart posted on their official media pages to announce their new electrifying Sofuto flavour – Thunderbolt Sofuto! As described in the captions, the dessert is “a creamy delight of rich Banana-flavored Milk that’ll leave you smiling with every bite.”
As seen in the photos above, the Pokémon mascot itself Pikachu is featured as the official Pokémon on the Thunderbolt Sofuto cone cover and sundae cups as the dessert’s name was based on one of Pikachu’s most famous (and probably most used) attacks in the anime series.
Just like the Gengar’s Treat Sofuto, FamilyMart shared that you can also enjoy the cold treat as a milkshake. After the photos were posted, fans were overly excited to try the new flavour ever since the popular convenience store posted a teaser not too long ago.
Here’s a reminder that FamilyMart’s Pokémon campaign will end on 2nd April so be sure to “catch ’em all” while you still can. Will you be trying the new Thunderbolt Sofuto? Better hurry before they run out!
