Most of us can’t wait for the release of “Avengers: Endgame” in April (internationally). But at least 1 fan could very well get to watch the blockbuster before its release.

The terminally ill fan, known only as Alexander, went viral after his campaign titled “Dying Before April: My Endgame” received a ton of support on Reddit.

So what is Alexander’s condition? “Liver cancer, mouth cancer, bone marrow failure,” the Australian citizen explained. “Will probably be dead before April. I’ve heard of people getting early screenings before. How do I get in on this action?”

“I’m not a child or anyone with a particularly tragic story. Just a normal guy. I’m 33, lost my sister 3 years ago to the same rare genetic disease it turns out I have too. I’ll leave behind a devoted girlfriend and an adopted greyhound,” he added.

Fellow Reddit users have collectively reached out to directors Joe and Anthony Russo using the #Avengers4Alexander and it looks like it paid off. Now that the people from Disney and Marvel are aware of this dying fan’s wish, they are considering to work on making this happen.

“I’ve had thousands of messages and comments of support and I’m very grateful. I’ve had lots of questions too and I’ve done my best to answer all of them. If I missed yours it’s not personal, it’s just that my inbox is out of control,” Alexander wrote in a separate Reddit post.

“Also, because Australia is a small place, turns out I know a guy who knows a guy who is chums with Chris Hemsworth. I think they called him tonight on my behalf,” he added before tweeting the good news he received.

@ManaByte
Disney have reached out and we're discussing options. Thank you all so much. This is everything I could have hoped for!

Besides being a Marvel geek, Alexander has also expressed his wish to watch the final season of “Game of Thrones”.
