Dolce&Gabbana presents its 2025 Lunar New Year special collection, celebrating the festive spirit of the Year of the Snake.
Featuring peonies and snakes, symbol of wisdom and vitality, this special collection embraces the Spring Festival and the many wonders it promises for the New Year, infusing a bright seasonal atmosphere into classic design.
Brocade, chambray, and silk twill have been chosen to create transformative silhouettes, showcasing timeless elegance. The enchanting patterns embellish various pieces, including Ready-to-Wear for Women, Men and Kids, Bags, and Accessories, paying homage to nature and the hope for a prosperous 2025.
For this Lunar New Year, Dolce&Gabbana is also collaborating with Chinese illustrator and visual artist Sun Jiayi to create a special drop. With extraordinary imagination, Sun has crafted four illustrations: Reunion, Celebration, Love Knot, and The Fireworks, drawing inspiration from her childhood memories of family reunions during the traditional festival. Alongside typical decorations and delicacies, the zodiac snake is transformed into fireworks, celebrating the heart-warming reunion around the New Year’s dinner table beneath a blooming sky.
An animated creative short film, “Ride Your Dreams Home”, also accompanies the collection, transforming the whimsical cartoon snake from Sun’s illustrations into a festive train adorned with the iconic Carretto Siciliano pattern. The train travels day and night, decorated with flowers and fireworks, guiding people to the true home of their heart.
To mark the occasion, Dolce&Gabbana is launching a WeChat Mini-Program titled “DG Fireworks Gift Box,” allowing friends, family, and lovers to share festive fireworks blessings, celebrating abundant happiness in the New Year.
