Local content group DISSY (低清) has another happy news to celebrate! After making Malaysian box office history with their Chinese New Year movie, DISSY members Morn Liew (沐人), a.k.a Choon Hao, and Yuniyce announced their engagement!
The couple shared the happy news on social media on 20th March 2025 (Thursday). According to reports, the two got engaged while on a trip to Japan. Morn announced the engagement with a humorous post, captioned, “I want to apologise to girls all over the world, your male god has proposed”. The post also included a set of photos showing the sequence of the DISSY founder getting on his knees to pop the big question.
The pair also shared a video of the proposal, which happened during a snowy day. During the proposal, Yuniyce was taken aback at first before understanding what was happening. After accepting the proposal, the influencer immediately burst into happy tears, prompting her now-fiancé to pull her into an embrace. The video also included videos of the pair taken during their previous dates.
Many friends and fellow content creators have since reacted to the news, congratulating the happy couple on their engagement. Many also sent the pair their blessings and wished Morn and Yuniyce lots of love and happiness. Funnily, since Morn is the founder of DISSY, some comments even joked that Yuniyce is now the “lady boss” of the content group.
At the same time, DISSY is celebrating the recent success of their debut movie, “Close Ur Kopitiam”. The comedy, released during CNY, grossed a whopping RM12.7 million at the box office, making it the third highest-grossing Malaysian Chinese film in history. The content group also revealed that they’ve already started working on their next CNY flick, which will be released in 2026.
Congratulations to Morn and Yuniyce on their engagement and to the whole of DISSY on their movie’s success. Here’s to hoping for more exciting news from the group!
