Malaysian fashion platform Dia Guild unveiled its Raya collection recently, and fashionistas are aflutter. The highly-anticipated lineup features a stunning array of traditional and handcrafted accessories, clothing, and jewellery, along with the platform’s newest brand, Zacarias 1925, from the Philippines.
Zacarias 1925’s brand’s Creative Director, Rita Nazareno, is an Emmy Award-winning television producer who returned to the Philippines from the US to helm her family’s artisanal business. Each piece of the exquisite collection is meticulously handcrafted at the historic S.C. Vizcarra workshop, with inspiration drawn from art, architecture, and history to create woven materials of unparalleled beauty that push the conventions of weaving.
Dia Guild’s new collection also features exciting launches from bestselling brands, such as Putri S, Titin, and Maren bags from Frankitas; along with a range of new batik shirts for men. The bags feature gorgeous weaves from the region, such as Ikat, and the shirts can also be unisex, making them perfect as gifts and apparel for the Raya season.
Other additions include pieces from popular brands such as limited edition, one-of-a-kind batik and tenun clutches from Pink Jambu, exquisite Arabic calligraphy pendant necklaces by Fugeelah, and Pubumésu’s new fan prints, made of leather and fully handcrafted in Java.
Co-founded by three inspiring women – Aisha Hassan, Kylie Francis, and Alia Farouk – Dia Guild has made it its mission to connect discerning global audiences with Southeast Asian brands, showcasing their unique creations, including clothing, accessories, and handmade gifts.
