Dato Seri Vida Says LaVida Coin Is Not A Get-Rich-Quick Scheme

It’s just one problem after another for Dato Seri Vida. Last week, the beauty product entrepreneur has been involved in a dispute with “Gegar Vaganza 4” winner Aishah over her allegedly fake jewelleries.

The issue is still ongoing, but now DSV has found herself in yet another problem. Her recently launched crypto currency, LaVida Coin (LVC) has been listed in Central Bank of Malaysia’s (BNM) financial consumer alert list.

The list includes all the companies and websites that are not permissible or approved under the laws and regulations of BNM.

While officials are still investigating the millionaire’s new digital asset, DSV has released an official statement explaining that LVC is not a get-rich-quick scheme or investment scheme but a crypto currency business which she creates based on her own experience after gaining good profit from the currency transaction.

“I will ensure that the LVC complies with all the rules and regulations set by the local authorities and the business will be managed with good intention and transparency. I promise to provide full cooperation to the authorities and get proper advice and guidance to ensure that LVC meets all the requirements while at the same time protects the interest of all parties involved,” read the statement.

The statement also said that Vida and the representatives of VI Profit Galaxy (DSV Cryptoclub & LUX Galaxies),  the operator behind LaVida Coin will be having a meeting with local officials to resolve the issue and status of LVC.
