Who doesn’t love a good wholesome story every now and then? Whether it’s a love story, a reunion story, or even the kindness of strangers’ story, they remind us that there is still a lot of good in this world. One of our favourite stories to hear is about good karma where people are rewarded for their kindness and honesty.

Previously, actress Fasha Sandha shared that she wanted to reward a 19-year-old delivery rider who went viral for owning up to his mistake. Now, get those tissues ready as this next act of kindness might make you teary-eyed.

Recently, a video was posted by Pinn Yang or @pinn_yang on TikTok where the Foodie CEO conducted a social experiment at a Shell petrol station to see if anyone was willing to help him pay for his drink. In the video, the customer brought over a bottle of 100 Plus to the counter and claimed that he was unable to pay cause he had “forgotten” his wallet.

To his surprise, the cashier name Tasha was willing to help pay for the drink without any hesitation. The content creator even asked if she was serious to which she insisted that she’ll treat him. Before she could even do anything, the TikToker handed her several RM50 notes and told her that she passed his test.

Tasha reacted in disbelief, still insisting that she can pay for his drink but the customer told her that he can pay and that she earned the reward for her kindness. “This is so unexpected!” she said joyfully. The video has since reached nearly 1 million views on TikTok at the time of writing. Netizens reacted to the wholesome post by praising the cashier for her generosity.

This wasn’t the first time Pinn Yang conducted social experiments. In a previous video that garnered over 4 million views, the CEO asked for a discount from a woman who was selling (what looked like) artificial roses on the streets of KL. After she agreed to his negotiated price, the generous man instead paid her RM100 for 1 rose.

The salesperson at first refused to accept the large sum of money but the customer insisted that it was her reward for being willing to lower the price of her item for him. This goes to show that there are still good people in this world and we hope these women (who went viral) are doing well. Watch the previous viral video here:
