There have been numerous cheating allegations in the entertainment industry recently. Earlier today (Wednesday, 30 October), it was reported that a well-known fine-dining Korean chef was reportedly caught cheating on his wife prior to their divorce.
According to interviews released by Dispatch, Chef Triple Star’s ex-wife, who has chosen to remain anonymous, and his former girlfriend, also unnamed, alleged that he was involved in relationships with both of them simultaneously. Furthermore, it has been suggested that the chef threatened one of his former partners. Here are the details:

According to several news reports, Chef Triple Star first met his ex-wife, known as Miss A, while he was still a student at Le Cordon Bleu in the United States in 2014. The former partner claimed that he leveraged her connections to secure a position at a Michelin-starred restaurant by gifting the management Chanel handbags. The couple married in 2022 but filed for divorce just three months later, amid ongoing conflicts.
Miss A also revealed to the media that her ex-husband’s letters included apologies and expressions of a desire to mend their relationship. However, his text messages allegedly contained violent threats after he discovered she had moved on with someone new. As for Triple Star (real name Kang Seung-won, 강승원)’s ex-girlfriend, she claimed that the chef ended their relationship by ghosting her. “I had heard rumours about his issues with women, but I never thought I would be one of them,” she stated. She said she discovered his relationship with Miss A after trying to contact him through his restaurant’s social media page which was managed by his then-wife.
Both women told Dispatch, “He turned out to be someone we never want to see again. We don’t care if he cooks in his restaurant, but we don’t want to see his face in public media.” So what does Triple Star have to say about these allegations?

The celebrity chef, who ranked No. 3 on Netflix’s “Culinary Class Wars”, has denied the claims made by the two women. While Triple Star admitted to having relationships with both of his partners, he sought to clarify certain details. He argued that although Miss A helped him secure an internship at the Michelin-starred restaurant, he earned his full-time position through hard work. Regarding his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, he described it as “brief.” However, he did not address the alleged threatening messages.
Currently, Triple Star operates his own restaurant in Cheongdam-dong but will these allegations impact his reputation? We will likely learn more in the coming days as updates emerge from the attorneys representing those involved.
