There have been plenty of romantic films released this year, but one of the most highly anticipated is “Materialists”, starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal. Set against the backdrop of New York City’s luxury-driven dating culture, the film follows a love triangle between a matchmaker (Johnson), her aspiring actor ex-boyfriend (Evans), and a charming millionaire (Pascal).
The project is written and directed by Celine Song, who made her directorial debut in 2023 with “Past Lives”. So, if you’re looking for something to watch with your partner or simply planning a chill night out with some friends, then this may be the film for you.
