Villains aren’t born, they’re made. Following the release of “Venom: The Last Dance“, we’re turning our attention to another Marvel film. Would you like to be on our “Kraven The Hunter” list?
After playing Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and the titular role in “Kick-Ass”, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is stepping into the role of his biggest comic book character yet – Kraven The Hunter. Aside from flexing his abs, the 34-year-old British star will also showcase his action-hero skills as the iconic Marvel villain.
The plot synopsis reads:
“Kraven the Hunter is the visceral, action-packed origin story of how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.”
In a previous interview, Aaron Taylor-Johnson talked about why he signed on to play the wildly self-assured huntsman. “I think there was something unique about this character and something grounded. We’ve all had enough of seeing certain studio films, a certain kind of pop culture… where they’re churning out stuff that dilutes wanting to go to the cinema. I wouldn’t have signed onto it if I felt there wasn’t something to really bring to life with this character,” the hunky actor told the publication.
