We’ve had numerous K-pop idols performing in Malaysia this year, with even more scheduled to visit in the near future. As exciting as these individual concerts are, it has been quite some time since we last experienced a full-scale K-pop music festival, such as the K-Wave 3 Music Festival or SEEN Festival.
However, one event organiser recently teased that a certain artist may be returning to Malaysia later this year, as part of the line-up for what they described as “Malaysia’s biggest K-pop music festival”. Here’s what we know so far:

Dream Factory Entertainment dropped a hint yesterday (Thursday, 24th July) on their Instagram page that a K-pop artist will soon be making his return to Malaysia, saying: “2026 is too far! He can’t wait to meet you guys! As promised, he’s back!” The company didn’t reveal much else, except that the festival is scheduled to take place on 1st November in Kuala Lumpur.
Since posting the teaser, fans have taken to social media to share their excitement and speculate on who the mystery idol might be. For those unfamiliar, Dream Factory Entertainment is the team behind several K-pop concerts and performances in Malaysia, including shows by BIGBANG’s Taeyang and Daesung, DJ HYO, 2NE1’s Minzy, and SUVIN.

As seen in the screenshots above, the majority of fans have guessed BIGBANG’s Taeyang, while others are hoping the upcoming festival will feature more than three acts to make it even more exciting and worthwhile. Some also expressed disappointment that the event will take place on the same day as WINNER’s concert in KL. At the time of writing, no official announcement has been made, and so far, Dream Factory Entertainment is remaining tight-lipped, offering no further hints about the mystery idol.
Whatever it is, we’re looking forward to the exciting news, and we hope that this K-pop Music Festival will bring as many idols as they can so that everyone gets to enjoy a night of fun and celebration. Who do you think is returning?
