Exploring a new facet of traditional watchmaking, CODE41 is taking on a legendary complication long demanded by its community. A genuine tour de force, the Moon INCEPTION moonphase combines the brand’s avant-garde design and the incomparable magic of the most poetic of watch complications.
The moon and date circles form an 8 – the symbol of infinity -, the grained background of the dial recalls the lunar surface, while the intertwined rings evoke its craters. The convex sapphire crystals provide the retro-classical touch that brings the whole thing together.
Mechanical Movement Of Pure Watchmaking
Five years ago, CODE41 launched the X41 project, featuring the 1st community-designed manufacture movement. A number of technological revolutions ensued, such as the Mecascape, an horological UFO unanimously acclaimed by critics.
True to the brand’s collaborative approach, the Moon INCEPTION is based on a Swiss movement modified by CODE41, the members of its community, and the Swiss watchmaking factory AJS, which has created an incredibly realistic moon disk and oscillating weight, both exclusive.
With its convex sapphire crystal, watertightness to 10 ATM and COSC certification offered as an optional extra, the Moon INCEPTION is designed for the most demanding of watch lovers.
Pre-orders for the Moon INCEPTION will open in time for the first full moon of 2024, on 25th January, and will last for a full lunar cycle, until 23rd February, 2024. Deliveries are estimated for September 2024.
