One of the worst things that can happen to a relationship is cheating. After all, it’s always a shock to discover that your chosen partner decided to pick someone else over you.
A man in China was upset when he discovered his wife cheating on him with another. Furious, he confronted her in the parking lot of a hotel where she had been seeing her lover. To his horror, she claimed she started cheating because he couldn’t support her financially anymore.
The man is reportedly from Zhongshan in the Guangdong province. Prior to the confrontation, the man started recording himself in a car. He explained he already suspected the affair, but had yet to confront his wife about it. Apparently, he found evidence of her cheating from her mobile phone where she kept selfies of herself in a hotel room.
The video then switched to him recording his wife in a parking lot. “My wife booked a room with others here (at a hotel) and is (being) blocked by me,” he explained. He then accused her of seeing others behind his back. “She has been with her lover for several months,” he told the camera, before switching to address his wife. “Don’t think I’m a fool, don’t play tricks with me here.” The man added she probably assumed he was watching the kids at home, hence her bold move to visit her lover that night.
During his accusations, the lady merely stood silently before him. She said nothing as he spoke, even though his voice steadily got louder and angrier. At one point, he quietly told her, “Call (your lover) to come here.” When she didn’t move, he shouted the instruction again and shoved her. Although she protested his actions, she did not move to stop him or to defend herself. Furious with her passiveness, he shoved her again, hard enough that she hit a car and cried out.
However, the lady still seemed unremorseful about her actions. She argued that he hadn’t accomplished anything in life. “Look at yourself during the past few years,” she said. “What have you given me? You’ve not even given us (your family) a penny. The house and car have both been sold.” She added that her family had tried to help them financially but nothing changed. As such, she apparently decided to find another man.
The man stated he had been working hard to change their fortunes. However, he hadn’t expected his wife to go behind his back like this. He pointed out that she could have simply divorced him and found another. The wife was quick to agree, but the man added that the man she was seeing could possibly be married to. “I gave you a chance to change but you didn’t,” he added unhappily.
It was definitely a difficult discussion, but one that was sadly necessary. We hope the duo will manage to sort out their affairs in the future and part on even terms. See the full confrontation here:
