With that in mind, The Chicken Rice Shop is offering an all-new delectable meal, Ayam Sedap Baq Hang for you to break your fast with! It’s available for a limited time only, from now to 13th June. We got the opportunity to try the dish for ourselves, so here’s what we think:
The Ayam Sedap Baq Hang is seasoned generously with a unique blend of different spices, and grilled to perfection. The secret sauce that coats its soft chicken meat blends spicy and sweet, creating an addictive taste that will sure bring you back for another bite. The Ayam Sedap Baq Hang is hearty yet flavourful, making it a delight for diners. It can be ordered A la Carte, priced at RM16.90 for two pieces.
The Ayam Sedap Baq Hang can be enjoyed in three different set meal packages, which are currently included in The Chicken Rice Shop’s Ramadan menu. All set meals come with a Dino Choco Malt, but it can be switched for other drinks of your choice for no extra charge. You can also add boba to your drinks for RM3 per cup.
The meals cater to either 1 pax, 2 pax or 4 pax. You may find the prices and details for each set meal package listed below:

- Pak Choy with Oyster Sauce (regular) or Spicy Savoury Ladies’ Fingers (regular)

Meal C: 4 Pax (RM105.90)
- Ayam Sedap Baq Hang (4 pieces)
- 1/4 Chicken (choice of Roast, Steamed or Soy Sauce)
- Nyonya Pai Tee (large)
- Penang Rojak (large)
- Penang Famous Chicken Rolls (3 pieces)
- Pak Choy with Oyster Sauce (large) or Spicy Savoury Ladies’ Fingers (large)

The meals have an excellent balance of meat and veggies, which mean they’re not only delicious, they’re also nutritious.
