Celebrate A Hearty Christmas With Loved Ones At These Delectable Feasts

Tis’ the season to be jolly! The season for turkeys, cranberries, and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon on everything. This Christmas, leave the cooking to the professionals and enjoy a festive, satisfying grand lunch or dinner at one of these eateries instead!

Here is a list of places you can dine at to celebrate the festive season, delight the taste buds, and most importantly, bond over what we Malaysians enjoy best – FOOD! So without further ado, let’s go!

1. Palm Garden Hotel Putrajaya

Festive Buffet Dinner

Time: 6:30pm – 10pm

Date: 24th and 25th December

This year, their Christmas Eve and Day buffet offers a smorgasbord of traditional fare – like the classic roast turkey and herb-crusted rib eye – fresh seafood, local Malaysian cuisine and international dishes from Thailand and Japan. Of course, we can’t forget the veritable treasure trove of Christmas goodies, like mince pies, stollen, Christmas pudding and their yule log cake!

Looking for an ideal place to get together with family and friends? Look no further! The Chow Kit Restaurant & Bar offers a cosy, comfy atmosphere and of course, a five course meal for you to enjoy. Explore a fusion of local and foreign tastes with dishes like their Hokkaido Scallop and A5 Wagyu Fried Rice. Lemon Garden needs no introduction – it’s one of the most sought after restaurants for top quality buffets in town. This Christmas, expect traditional Christmas must-haves like the lamb cutlet, roasted prime ribs, lobster thermidor and sweet treats that are diverse, flavourful, and elegant. The variety of stations will also include local and international cuisine together with specialty dishes.

Indulge on the festive Afternoon Tea Enchanted Wonder theme with wonderful selection of homemade seasonal treats, a delicate sweet such as the white forest kingdom Noel, Warm Christmas mince pie, Enchanted Santa Cheese hat, savories including Foie Gras terrine with pickled cherry macaroon, Boston lobster and the warm five spice pecan mix fruit scones to name a few.

Recently, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur also held the annual Christmas Charity Tree light-up ceremony and invited the underprivileged children from United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR) and Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah, to join in on the fun. Visitors can find the 19.2-foot-tall Christmas Tree (adorned with variations of the Nutcracker ornaments) in the Lobby. Organisations and individuals who want to give back and purchase one of the colourful ornaments. All proceeds will go to the children in urgent need of immediate surgery and medical care.
