A family gathering would not be complete without some booze, and nothing makes a cold Carlsberg taste better than when shared in the spirit of togetherness! As everyone prepares to usher in the Lunar New Year, Carlsberg is celebrating the joy of reunions and abundance of prosperity with their new CNY campaign, ‘Brewing Prosperity Together’.
Carlsberg has created the vibrant CNY Prosperity Burrow spring wonderland, which highlights the essence and traditions of Chinese culture, delivering all the best elements of CNY in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang; as well as their new artist edition packaging designed by award-winning illustrator Fei Fei Ruan. Visitors to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Level 3 Connection may expect a bounty of treats that spans from one end of the Connection to the other from now to the 17th of January 2023.
Visitors can enjoy the Zodiac Forecast in the core celebratory area, where festivities come alive, and the secrets of the 12 zodiac signs in 2023 are revealed. There’s also a Paper Craft station where visitors can snip, fold, and make their craftiest CNY artwork; a Prosperity Cam to capture the ultimate all-around reunion photo with their loved ones; and a Drumming Prosperity Together challenge where visitors may win special goodies.
The stretch also includes a gorgeous landscape artwork with a gigantic auspicious golden bunny, followed by CarlsBar, a clever Carlsberg pop-up bar where customers can try their hand at creating their own distinctive Carlsberg cocktails while being led by a mixologist. The pathway is also embellished with magnificent arches that contain the same thematic artwork, leading consumers to the main event.
To honour CNY traditions, a magnificent reunion supper was organised recently at the Grand Imperial, Pavilion for media and business partners. Guests were treated to Lou Sang, an LED Lion Dance exhibition, a traditional Chinese New Year feast, and, best of all, a performance by DJ Kenji, who dressed up as the God of Prosperity and spun the night away.
For those seeking to join the fun in the northern part of Malaysia: the Prosperity Burrow will also be in Penang at the main concourse of Sunway Carnival Mall, from now to the 29th of January 2023.
