With constant lockdowns and MCOs having plagued the last two years of our lives, being excited for this year’s Chinese New Year celebration would be an understatement. It goes without saying that we’ve become restless to experience all the lion dances and CNY songs we missed due to the pandemic.

Well, in celebration of the year of the tiger, Carlsberg is hosting an interactive showcase of local art, culture and food at REXKL from 17th January to 13th February. Partnering with the KL Hawker & Petty Traders Association, Carlsberg aims to shine a light on the local scene in Petaling Jaya. So, if you’re looking for something new to explore during this festive season, come here to enjoy the festive season like never before as you drink beer and have fun!

1. A Maze Bar

Made with Carlsberg crates, this interactive CNY exhibition features a Maze Bar you can explore while enjoying a mug of Carlsberg beer. Come here to get drunk and get lost with your friends as you navigate through the maze. It’s probably the best maze bar in the world!

2. Digital Wishing Lantern Area

Start off the lunar new year by sharing your CNY greetings with Carlsberg’s Digital Wishing Lanterns! The area allows consumers to inscribe festive messages that will be shown on at REXKL. Share your aspirations and wishes with the world after having to stay in isolation these past two years!

3. Zodiac Wall

Worried about your health, wealth and relationships for the year of the tiger? Don’t worry, as Carlsberg’s exhibition features an exclusive Zodiac Wall with key insights from Dato’ Joey Yap himself! Here, you can read up on what you can expect for the new year ahead and quell any worries you have for your future. Learn how to optimise your luck and abundance for the year ahead.
