The concert will feature the BASE Philharmonic Orchestra, comprising talented local musicians, under the baton of Joshua Tan, Singapore’s own internationally celebrated conductor. Tan is celebrated for his versatility across symphonic, operatic, ballet, film, and multimedia repertoire, and has conducted orchestras around the world, including the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. His leadership of the BASE Philharmonic Orchestra ensures that Wong Kar Wai’s masterful soundtrack will be rendered with exquisite precision and artistry.
