BTS’ Jimin is proving his global popularity once again! The K-pop star has secured a spot among the world’s top 5 most influential Instagram accounts of October 2026, joining some of the biggest names in entertainment and sports.
According to global influencers marketing platform HypeAuditor, Jimin ranked 5th worldwide in its Instagram influence rankings as of 5 November
What’s even more impressive is that Jimin was the only Korean celebrity to enter the top 5, maintaining his position for three consecutive months since August.
Jimin Joins Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez & More!
With more than 60.64 million Instagram followers, Jimin continues to attract attention from fans around the world.
Apart from ranking 5th globally, the BTS member also secured first place in South Korea’s country-specific rankings.
In the global music category, he ranked third, just behind international pop stars Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
Meanwhile, the overall global rankings saw football superstar Christiano Ronaldo take the top spot, followed by Lionel Messi in second place. Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez claimed third and fourth place, respectively, with Jimin completing the top 5.

HypeAuditor uses artificial intelligence to measure the influence of Instagram accounts by looking at factors such as account activity, audience engagement and follower credibility.
The platform also checks for fake followers and suspicious activities to provide a more accurate picture of an account’s influence. Rankings may change depending on these factors.
Despite sharing only two Instagram posts on 6th and 15th October, Jimin maintained his fifth-place global ranking as of 5th November.
