Look this way, watch aficionados! The Superocean Heritage is back, and it’s looking sharper, sleeker, and more surf-ready than ever. Breitling’s most stylish sea watch has officially entered a new era, with a refreshed design that combines vintage character with laid-back modern flair.
This marks the first major update to the collection since 2017, and it’s making waves with new models, fresh proportions, and collaborations inspired by ocean culture and beachside cool.
A Fresh Wave Of Style & Substance
The 2025 refresh introduces a tighter lineup of case sizes, ranging from 36 mm to 44 mm, with each model built for versatility and all-day wear. Automatic versions now feature the new in-house Caliber B31, Breitling’s latest three-hand movement, offering enhanced precision and a 78-hour power reserve. The 42 mm chronograph returns with the flagship Caliber 01, known for its reliability and top-tier performance.
The Superocean Heritage gets a cleaner, sharper look with slimmer ceramic bezels, redesigned spear and arrow hands, and tone-on-tone subdials for better balance and readability. It now comes in a focused palette of black, blue, and green, with matching bezels. Strap options include mesh-metal or mesh-rubber for a sleek, comfortable fit. Select models also feature responsibly sourced 18k red gold accents for a touch of luxury without losing the minimalist vibe.
Kelly Slater Limited Edition: A Surf Legend’s Tribute
To honour surfing’s greatest of all time, Breitling has created the Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic 40 Kelly Slater. This limited-edition piece features a deep blue dial with a stamped tropical foliage motif and an open caseback engraved “One of 500.”
Available with a blue rubber strap or stainless-steel mesh bracelet, it comes packaged in a special floral box along with a personal note from Slater himself. “This watch reflects everything I love,” says Slater. “The ocean, nature, and the easygoing style I’ve always connected with.”
Eyewear & Flip-Flops To Match
Breitling has teamed up with British eyewear icon Cutler and Gross to launch a capsule sunglasses collection that mirrors the Superocean Heritage aesthetic. With lacquer-filled temple tips, mesh-inspired details, and red-gold accents, the four handcrafted styles come in limited runs of 500 each and feature ZEISS LightPro® lenses in a variety of cool shades.
Rounding out the beach-ready collabs, Breitling also joins forces with Havaianas to debut floral-print flip-flops, available exclusively at select Breitling boutiques via the Breitling Equipment line.
The Superocean Heritage collection, including the Kelly Slater edition, Cutler and Gross sunglasses, and Havaianas collaboration, is now available at select Breitling Boutiques and online. The eyewear will launch in September at Cutler and Gross flagship stores and selected global retailers.
