BLINKs, get ready because BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is preparing to treat fans to more solo music! The K-pop star has announced the release of her second prerelease single, “Addicted,” giving fans another taste of her upcoming debut full-length solo album.
According to her agency, Blissoo, the new track is set to drop on 30th October 2026 (Friday) at 8AM KST (7AM Malaysian Time) across local and international music streaming platforms.
And judging by the teasers released so far, Jisoo might be exploring a completely different side of herself this time!
Jisoo Teases A Darker Concept For ‘Addicted’
Ahead of the release, Blissoo has been building excitement through a series of teasers shared on its official social media platforms.
From 24th to 26th October, the agency unveiled a motion logo, concept photos and a short video preview, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect.
The motion logo features heart-shaped lighting striking across a dark purple sky, before revealing the song’s title in bold, three-dimensional lettering.
Meanwhile, the concept photos show Jisoo posing behind a shimmering curtain, sporting full bangs and sleek black nails. A separate video teaser also offers a brief preview of the song’s melody and choreography.
Unlike her previous prerelease single, ‘Click,’ which explored the natural connection between two people who meet by chance, “Addicted” is expected to feature a darker and more complex concept.
A New Chapter In Jisoo’s Solo Career
“Addicted” follows the release of “Click” in September 2026, which served as the first preview of Jisoo’s upcoming album.
According to Blissoo, ‘Click’ received a positive response internationally, entering the top 10 on iTunes charts in 43 regions and appearing on Apple Music’s Top Songs charts in 11 countries.
Jisoo has also been building her solo career alongside her activities with BLACKPINK. In 2025, she released her debut EP, Amortage, before collaborating with Zayn Malik on Eyes Closed.
The collaboration also earned Jisoo an entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, adding another milestone to her growing solo career.
Jisoo Is Returning to Korean Music Shows!
There’s even more exciting news for fans! To promote Addicted, Jisoo will be returning to Korean television music programmes for a series of live performances.
The appearances will mark her return to the weekly music shows circuit after some time away, giving fans a chance to see her perform her latest solo release on stage.
While the official release date for her full-length solo album has yet to be announced, “Addicted” is another step towards the highlight anticipated project.
With a darker concept, fresh choreography and upcoming live performances, Jisoo’s next solo era is already giving BLINKs plenty to look forward to!
