He has a name fit for a Norse god y’all!
Nick Carter took to Instagram recently to share the very first picture of his newborn son, Odin Reign Carter, where the sweet cutie is seen sleeping with one hand touching the side of his face while the other hand is folded across the chest.
“I just love how peaceful he is. Daddy will be home soon Odin. #babies #love #family,” the proud father captioned. Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt Carter welcomed their baby boy on 19th April via a water birth at their home in Hidden Hills, California, following 30 hours of labour.
“I hate getting emotional but seeing her like that triggered this influx of emotions that really made me realize what’s happening in our life. Without each other, the two of us would never have gotten to this point, so it feels amazing and it’s crazy how much more in love you can become when you start this phase of your life,” the Backstreet Boys singer told ET Online.
Carter, 36, and Kitt, 32, discovered the baby’s sex when the performer was competing on “Dancing With The Stars” last November. As for their choice for the name Odin, Carter previous shared, “It’s a very strong name. We can’t say the name yet. I’ve been instructed by my wife to keep it under wraps.”
