Astro recently held its “Astro Showcase Party” at KL Tower earlier this week. The event featured tons of famed celebrities in attendance, apart from splendid performances from our homegrown talents namely Aina Abdul, De Fam, Thomas Kung, among others.
During the event, Astro customers also managed to get a glimpse of their latest local content slated to premiere through the end of 2022 to early 2023. According to Azlin Reza Azmi, the VP for Astro’s Malay Channel Business, Astro is aiming to enhance the quality, quantity and variety of local content available while strengthening the company’s position as a leading local content producer.
“We are proud to introduce the premiering content that will soon be available to Astro customers. We are excited to announce the returning seasons of two signature variety shows on Astro, ‘All Together Now Malaysia 2’ and ‘The Masked Singer Malaysia 3’. Both reality shows have demonstrated their own strengths in keeping audiences tuned in to our platforms,” Azlin stated.
Apart from the two aforementioned programmes, Astro also offers plenty of exciting drama series and movies catering to audiences across all ages. Among them include “Jesnita”, which stars Intan Najuwa and Yusuf Bahrin as lead roles. Other series include “One Cent Thief”, “Vengaiyan Magan” and “Lost And Found”, as well as films such as “Mechamato The Movie” and “Polis Evo 3”.
“All Together Now Malaysia 2” will premiere on 11th December, every Sunday at 9pm on Astro Ria (channel 104), with Datuk Syafinaz Selamat taking over as the new Captain. “The Masked Singer Malaysia 3” will air every Friday nights beginning 23rd December, on Astro Warna (channel 107).
