Actress Ashley Chu (朱智賢) joined TVB ten years ago when she entered Miss Hong Kong 2013. While she made a career for herself in the venerated entertainment company, on 27th September, Ashley revealed that she would soon be leaving TVB.
The 37-year-old agreed that her decision was rather sudden, yet truly felt it was time for her to explore new horizons. While her news saddened many, a month later, most seem to think it is for the best, especially since she’s been looking great after taking a break from the industry in general!
In her Instagram post, Ashley Chu explained that she hoped to leave the company to discover what was waiting for her outside of it. But, she added that she still had prior commitments. “I will continue to shoot my new drama and will not officially leave until shooting is completed in December,” she stated.
Well, a month after her announcement, Ashley has apparently been on vacation and netizens are of the opinion that she looks better than ever. Her recent post placed her in Macau, enjoying herself by the pool with a glass of juice. “Actually, I love to sit by the pool and bask under the sun. It’s so relaxing in the afternoon. The most important thing is to relax on vacation,” she captioned.
Netizens were of course delighted to see her looking well, but many were also captivated by her ever-growing beauty. Several praised her looks and most added being distracted by her figure encapsulated in her white swimsuit and coverup, claiming she looked “radiant” and “sexy”. She certainly looked happier and more relaxed.
Well, as mentioned, Ashley Chu’s final drama shoot with TVB, “Big Biz Duel (企业强人)” is scheduled to finish by December. However, Hong Kong media reports that she already has her next job lined up. Allegedly, she will be working with HOY TV, just like former TVB actress Carol Cheng (鄭裕玲).
Previously, Ashley went viral after it was discovered she was cheating on her boyfriend Brian Tse (謝東閔) with married actor Jackson Lai (黎振燁). However, it certainly seems as though she’s moved on and is working on steadily bettering herself.
