It’s only January, but many K-pop groups have already announced performances in Malaysia for the coming months. One group that may be joining the list is girl group Apink (에이핑크), who could be returning to our shores later this year.

On 26th January 2026 (Monday), Apink announced their Asia tour, “The Origin: APINK”. The girl group will perform in several cities, including Taipei, Macau, Singapore, and Kaohsiung. The poster also states that the group will announce additional dates soon. However, a separate announcement hints that Apink will also bring the tour to Kuala Lumpur.

One PinkPanda (Apink fan) shared a screenshot of the tour notice uploaded on the group’s fan cafe. The notice states that the group had scheduled a show in KL on 14th March 2026 (Saturday). However, the announcement didn’t include the venue. According to fans, Apink’s management has since edited the notice to remove the KL date.

It’s believed that the management hasn’t finalised the KL show, which explains why they haven’t announced it. Since 14th March falls during the Ramadan month, many fans argue that the management and the organiser might be looking for a new date for the concert. Regardless, fans are hoping that Apink will indeed perform in Malaysia later this year.

If the show is confirmed, whether on a new date or not, it will mark Apink’s first concert in Malaysia in seven years. The quintet last performed in Malaysia for the Lazada 11.11 Super Show in 2019. Given how long it’s been since their previous appearance, it’s no wonder that fans are eager for their return.

For now, we can only wait for an official announcement, but let’s hope that Malaysia is in the plans for Apink’s upcoming concert. Would you attend the girl group’s concert if they announced a show in KL?
