Calling all C-pop fans! Your favourite pop stars are holding a livestream concert tonight (Monday, 11th May) online.
Andy Lau (劉德華), Jay Chou (周杰倫), Jam Hsiao (蕭敬騰), Stefanie Sun (孙燕姿), Fish Leong (梁静茹), Wu Bai (伍佰), Karry Wang Jun Kai (王俊凯), Vincent Fang (方文山), Wu Jin Yan (吴谨言), and more will be participating.
The livestream relief concert is intended to pay tribute to the heroes in white. Proceeds from this music show will be donated to the frontliners in conjunction with International Nurses Day, which falls on 12th May 2020 (tomorrow).
This music event was reportedly inspired by medical workers who have been writing lyrics from their favourite songs on their outfits to serve as motivation to power through this difficult Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, many Chinese singers have agreed to pay tribute to these “White Angels” as a way of saying thank you.
