It’s rather sad that female celebs are often subjected to criticism when it comes to their fashion choices. Previously, many were slammed for dressing “inappropriately” at a fashion event earlier this year and one celeb was even called out for posting a photo of her bikini despite not being seen in it.
Another local female celebrity has gotten mixed reactions after she posted photos of herself in a sexy outfit during a recent stay at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Yesterday (Monday, 10th July), actress and TV presenter Yasmin Hani posted a series of photos of herself enjoying her stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in KL on Instagram. In the photos, the celeb can be seen wearing a purple body-fitting mesh outfit, donned with a white see-thru cardigan and unbuttoned white shorts while holding a drink in her hand.
The post was obviously meant to share the wonderful time she had at the hotel and how inspired she felt based on her captions. However, some netizens were quick to criticise her for her choice of outfit. Some advised her to cover up as Muslim women are forbidden to show too much of their bare skin while others said that she brings shame to the religion.
Thankfully, positive comments by fans and fellow celebs drowned the negative ones as seen in the screenshots above. Many commented on how beautiful Yasmin was and found it hard to believe that she is a 44-year-old mother with 2 kids. At the time of writing, the actress has yet to respond to any of the criticisms she received for her outfit.
For your information, the “Bawah Blok” star was not alone during her stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Her boyfriend actor Alif Hadi was also enjoying his time in the same hotel as both of them tagged each other in their posts on Instagram. It is not known whether they were there together on a holiday or for work but regardless, the two seemed happy to be in each other’s company.
