Canadian actress Christy Chung (钟丽缇) recently shared that she was in Kota Kinabalu with her family and gave fans a look at the stunning sunset she saw while in town.
The actress shared the photos on XiaoHongShu, posting them with the caption, “I caught a super romantic sunset over the sea in Malaysia”. According to the post, Christy was in Malaysia on holiday with her husband, Shawn Zhang (张伦硕), and her daughter, Cayla. While in town, the family spent time with some friends and rented a small yacht to enjoy the sunset from the sea.
While on the yacht, Christy wore a flowy dress with a simple straw hat, while her husband Shawn wore a casual grey t-shirt and shorts. The couple also happily posed for photos, squashing the rumours of divorce. Unfortunately, the public figure never shared a family photo with her husband and daughter. However, Cayla was seen in a group photo, garnering netizens’ praises over how pretty she’s getting as she ages.
The 54-year-old also shared several photos of the orange sunset over the Kota Kinabalu sky. In her post, Christy described the sight as super romantic and unforgettable – and after seeing her snapshots, many netizens agreed with her. Many Malaysian fans also took the opportunity to welcome her to the country and wished her a great time while in town. Some netizens also shared their photos of the sunset in Kota Kinabalu, starting a trend in the comments section.
In response to a comment, Christy revealed that she will share a vlog of her trip, which means we’ll see more of her in Malaysia soon. While we’re unsure whether the media personality and her family are still in the country, we hope they had a great time while they were here.
