From seashell bouquets to ocean castles, Christy Chung (鍾麗緹) and Golden Zhang Lun Shuo (張倫碩)’s aquatic-themed wedding ceremony was nothing short of spectacular.
The 46-year-old Canadian born actress finally tied the knot with her 34-year-old beau in a lavish RMB 10 million (approximately RM6.1 million) last night (Tuesday, 8th November) in Beijing, China.

Although the couple had previously teased their friends and family members with a mermaid themed wedding invitation, the actual wedding event was a real feast for the eyes. The interior of the venue was so full of colour, mainly in different shades of blue accompanied with pearl decorations as well as large clam shells and corals.
The 3-tiered baby blue wedding cake featured a pretty mermaid figurine while guests were also treated to various underwater themed desserts and drinks. Even Christy’s beautiful dream wedding dress had a mermaid feel to it. Embellished in aquatic jewellery, the bride’s dress had a streamlined shape from the waist, with ruffles towards the bottom.
Here are some of the stunning pictures taken during the happy occasion:
During the wedding, Christy proudly declared to her new husband in front from everyone, saying, “I have finally found my lucky star, soulmate, hero, and big tree. In my next life, can you marry me earlier?’”
This marks the 3rd marriage for Christy. She has 2 young daughters, Cayla Yen and Jaden Yen, from her 2nd marriage to Jon Yen, while her eldest daughter, Yasmine Ross, is from her 1st marriage with Glen Ross. All 3 girls were present as flower girls during the joyous occasion.
In conjunction to the wedding, both Cayla and Jaden recorded a cute video to convey their well wishes to their mum and their stepdad. “Wishing Dad and Mum a happy marriage, [be] happy every day, we wish that you will have a lot of babies and we wish that Dad will take care of us, because we are one family,” the pair said.

A huge congratulations to the newly weds! We wish y’all a happily every after.
