After a turbulent couple of weeks filled with bad news, Malaysian girl group DOLLA appears to hint at exciting things coming in the future. The trio recently met with Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, seemingly planning some good news.
On 24th November 2025 (Monday), the girl group revealed that they had met with the politician at Parliament. While the trio never shared the reason for the meeting or the details of their discussion, DOLLA hinted at a positive outcome. In their social media post, the group briefly wrote, “Future looks exciting”, before thanking Fahmi and his team.

DOLLA’s management, Universal Music Malaysia, also shared about the meeting, writing, “An absolute honour to sit down with the Minister of Communications YB Datuk Fahmi Fadzil this afternoon. Thank you for a fruitful discussion and for listening to our vision. Exciting times are ahead for the industry and we are looking forward to be a part of it!”
The meeting comes days after DOLLA announced the cancellation of their “Good Girls Gone Bad” concert, which was scheduled for 6th December at Idea Live Arena. The group explained that they had to cancel the concert after the organiser failed to secure the necessary permits on time. The members added that they had to make the decision at the last minute to avoid risks.

At the same time, the trio recently had to take down their “Question” music video after criticism over their outfits. Despite the backlash, many fans have shown support for DOLLA, even encouraging them to explore opportunities overseas. The music video has since been reuploaded to YouTube, but remains restricted to Malaysian viewers.
While it’s unknown what DOLLA and Fahmi Fadzil discussed, we hope it brings good news for the group and their fans. What are your thoughts on this?
