When it comes to Qingming/ Ching Ming aka Tomb-Sweeping Day, most families treat the day with reverence. It is after all, a day to remember for those who have gone before us. However, that doesn’t mean that nothing eventful happens during the day itself!
Recently, a rather eye-catching video popped up in Facebook group 槟城吹水站. It showed a normal-looking cemetery with one added piece. Instead of the area being covered with only tombstones, one such gravestone had a car resting on it!
According to reports, the car had allegedly been backing up on a narrow road going uphill. Unfortunately, the driver had allegedly pressed too hard on the accelerator, which supposedly caused the car to reverse straight into a tombstone.
From the video, it can be seen that the car is half suspended in the air, supported only by the embankment and the gravestone itself. The back end of the car is also crumpled from where it collided with the tombstone. However, the grave itself is notably undamaged.
Although the video was uploaded to the group, no further information was released. Currently, the incident’s location, date and time remain unknown. However, we sincerely hope those involved are safe!
