One Young World’s official website cited Syed Saddiq’s role as a minister and also his participation in “Projek Reben Kuning”. For those who don’t know, the initiative was aimed at providing job opportunities for young ex-convicts.
The award honours 5 prominent politicians aged between 18 to 35 who have left a positive impact and influence to the youth community in their respective countries. Furthermore, the nominees are often those who highlight the benefit of including young people in the politic world.

The nominees are currently being evaluated by a panel of expert judges who will decide on the final five award recipients. The winners will be announced in mid-July at the One Young World 2021 Summit in Munich.
Congrats and all the best to you, Syed Saddiq!
