Andrew Jack, aged 76, had died from coronavirus after being diagnosed just 2 days ago.
He was admitted to a hospital near London. Sadly, his wife Gabrielle Rogers couldn’t say goodbye in person as had to remain in quarantine in Australia.
“It breaks my heart to let you know we lost a man today. Andrew Jack was diagnosed with Coronavirus when admitted to hospital less than 48 hours ago in suburban London. He died today. He was in no pain, and he slipped away peacefully knowing that his children, step children, grandchildren, brother, friends, and I were all ‘with’ him. Take care out there, lovers,” Gabrielle posted on social media.
The late actor played a Resistance officer named General Ematt in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” as well as “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. He was also responsible for creating different dialects for the various fictional languages in Peter Jackson’s “Lord Of The Rings” film trilogy.
There’s no doubt that his legacy will live on.
