After the success of BLACKPINK’s concert in Malaysia, the organiser of said concert MacpiePro has expressed their intention of bringing over another huge K-pop group to Malaysia, BTS.
CEO of MacpiePro, Ang Chee Ciang told Astro Awani that the company is currently in the early planning process of bringing the international K-pop group to Malaysia. So for now, nothing is set in stone yet.
“MacpiePro is hoping to bring BTS to Malaysia to meet their fans here, but nothing is confirmed yet for now. Before making any arrangement, we need to plan out first,” he said.
“MacpiePro is also currently in the midst of discussing with other well-known artist management companies in Korea. If all goes well, we hope to be able to host their concert in Malaysia so that fans can enjoy a great show,” he added.
After BLACPINK, the company’s next project would be GFRIEND’s Asia Tour and K-Wave 4 Music Festival, which will both take place this year.
The CEO also said that MacpiePro plans to hold 20 concerts in Malaysia for 2019. Apart from K-pop shows, they will also give focus to M-pop, international artists and local talents.
