The “Justice League” cast and crew stormed Hall H at the annual San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) to meet their fans and they definitely did not turn up empty-handed.
During the panel, the “Justice League” members dropped brand new exclusive footage from the DC movie.
The synopsis is as follows:
“In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (played by Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (played by Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince (played by Gal Gadot) to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes – Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (played by Jason Momoa), Cyborg (played by Ray Fisher) and The Flash (played by Ezra Miller) – it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
The striking 4-minute trailer gives fans a better look at the DC Extended Universe movie and the DC superheroes as they team up to stop a new threat led by the villainous Steppenwolf (played by Ciaran Hinds). And by striking, we really mean that the overall treatment of the movie is brighter and contains more colours than say, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice“.
As expected, we get to see a whole lot more of each superhero, including Wonder Woman whom we were formally and properly introduced to in her own full-length solo film recently. She’s so prominent that there are even glimpses of the Amazons in their home of Themyscira. Aquaman also got more screen time in the trailer this time around, including a scene that involved a glimpse of an underwater army – something that we’ve all been looking forward to. The Flash, as usual, has all the light-hearted scenes, as he continues to drop lines with childlike innocence.
More importantly, there’s an indication right at the end of the trailer that teases the resurrection of Superman, which we simply can’t wait to see!
“Justice League” is slated to be released in cinemas on 17th November 2017.
