Who doesn’t love instant photos, right? With a click of a shutter, you get a fully printed photo as a keepsake, which is just the right size to put in your wallet or hang around your room.
However, there have always been a few problems with it. What if you want to take a wefie? You’d have to make sure that you’re holding it in the right angle or else some of your friends would be cut off the photo. What if there’s more than 10 people in a group and everyone wants a group photo? You’d have to stand in the same position while the photographer snaps away.
Thanks heavens Fujifilm is revolutionising the way you take photos. The company introduced the instax SQUARE SQ10 and instax mini 9 in Malaysia today (Tuesday, 16th May), with both cameras providing you with all-new features you will love.
The SQ10, a hybrid instant camera, is perhaps the camera you will fall in love with. Equipped with a LCD screen, the SQ10 allows you the ability to edit your photos before you print them. There’s also a manual mode on the camera, which means that the photos you take won’t be automatically printed. Instead, you’ll have the choice to choose the image and the amount of photos you want.
The photos are also in the square format, so you don’t have to worry about composing it horizontally or vertically. Psst, the camera can also be charged with a micro USB cable, so changing batteries will be a thing of the past 😉
If you’re looking for something simpler and cheaper, there’s always the mini 9 to fall back on. Mostly similar to its predecessor, the mini 8, the latest camera is refreshed with a selfie mirror and comes with a close-up lens. However, several key features stay the same – such as the automatic exposure measurement for aperture settings and high-key mode for brighter photos.
It also comes in a range of 5 colours – lime green, cobalt blue, smoky white, ice blue, and flamingo pink.
SQ10 retails at RM1328 while mini 9 sells at RM348. You can pre-order the SQ10 at the Avenue K Japan Festival and Wonder Photo Shop (located at Sunway Pyramid and Lot 10) from now until 21st May. As for the mini 9, it is already available for sale at the aforementioned places.
