Social media is a great way to stay connected and many celebrities rely on it to keep in touch with their fans. However, certain entertainers prefer to remain private.
Although Wang Leehom (王力宏) and his wife, Lee Jing Lei (李靚蕾), do regularly post photos of their daughters during their family excursions on their social media accounts, the couple has been careful not to reveal any frontal images of them.
If you’ve been following Leehom’s Facebook and Weibo’s accounts, you’d notice that the musician has always been selective of the types of photos shared, particularly those that involve his family. Their family Halloween outing picture (seen above) is an example of how he only showcases the back view of his daughter, Wang Jia Li (王嘉莉).
When asked about his elusiveness and decision to keep his children’s appearances a mystery, the 40-year-old singer replied, “I heard that if I make my children’s faces public on my social media account, the paparazzi will not need to mosaic their faces when they get photographed in future. I’m just trying to protect my daughters”.
Leehom also added that although his babies are welcome to pursue a career in the entertainment industry when they grow up, he doesn’t want unsolicited exposure for his girls – especially from the media.
The proud parents first welcomed their first child, Jia Li, in July 2014, before announcing the arrival of their 2nd baby, Wang Jiana (王嘉娜), last October.
