For many, Mr Bean isn’t just a comedy character; it’s a childhood memory filled with timeless, goofy antics that never get old. This year, the beloved British icon celebrates his 35th anniversary, and Malaysians are getting the chance to join in on the fun with a unique café experience.
From 1st November 2025 to 1st February 2026, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will host an exclusive “Mr Bean” collaboration café at Acolab, the same team that previously delighted fans with themed experiences for “Demon Slayer (鬼滅の刃)” and “Solo Leveling (나 혼자만 레벨업/俺だけレベルアップな件)”. This time, the spotlight is on Mr Bean and his trusty sidekick, Teddy, promising months of laughter, nostalgia, and collectables for fans of all ages.
The café will be fully decked out in Mr Bean-inspired décor, immersing visitors in the whimsical universe of the iconic character. From the walls to the tables, every corner of the café will transport you into the cartoon’s quirky charm, making it feel like you’ve stepped right into Mr Bean’s world.
Foodies will also have something to look forward to. Instead of ordinary café meals, the menu has been designed with Mr Bean’s humour and style in mind, featuring themed desserts, specially packaged meals, and drinks that look like they leapt straight out of the cartoon series.
Collectors will want to take note of the limited-edition merch available only during this collaboration. Every visit to the café comes with a random “Mr Bean” photocard, with four designs to collect. There are also exclusive coasters and a Fun Package that includes a themed activity card for fans who want to go all in. The activity card itself is more than just a keepsake; it comes with Scrabble challenges, stamp collections, and mini-games that extend the “Mr Bean” experience beyond the table.
Perhaps the most exciting feature of the café is its 3D photo zone. Iconic “Mr Bean” scenes have been recreated as life-sized setups, complete with props, backdrops, and playful details. Visitors can step into the moments themselves, striking poses that are both nostalgic and perfect for Instagram.
