Losing someone to illness is one of the most challenging and heartbreaking experiences anyone can endure. Today (Monday, 14th July) is a sombre day for the Korean entertainment industry, as both fans and fellow stars bid farewell to a beloved actress who has sadly succumbed to cancer.
It has been reported that actress Kang Seo-ha (강서하) has passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was 31 years old.

The tragic news was confirmed through a post on the actress’s official Instagram account. The tribute featured a compilation of photos and videos capturing cherished moments spent with loved ones before her untimely passing.
“I still can’t believe it, unnie. Even while enduring such immense pain, you worried about those around you and about me. My angel, who left us far too soon. Even as you endured everything with painkillers, you said you were grateful that it wasn’t worse, and I felt truly ashamed. My dear sister, you went through so much. I hope you are only happy and free from pain where you are now!” the caption reads.

While this has not been officially confirmed, the post was presumably made by a family member of the late star. Kang Seo-ha’s funeral will reportedly be held on 16th July (Wednesday), with her final resting place to be the family burial site in Haman, Gyeongnam Province.
The actress starred in numerous dramas and films, including “The Flower in Prison” and “Heart Surgeons”. Her final project, Mangnaein, is set to be released soon, making it likely to be her only posthumous release. We offer our deepest condolences to her loved ones and hope they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
