Last Saturday (11th January 2025), Malaysia’s beloved singer Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, also known as Tokti, celebrated her 46th birthday! Although the singer didn’t host a grand party, her fans insisted on commemorating the special day together with other SitiZoners at Bukit Bintang.
A TikTok video uploaded by @sitizoner, which sits at 97.9k views at the time of writing, shows a look at a fan-planned birthday celebration. However, just as the birthday celebration was about to start, the singer made a surprise appearance in the bustling streets of Bukit Bintang, which shocked the die-hard SitiZoners on site.
Not only did her presence stunned fans and passersby, but Tokti was also just in time for her birthday video to pop up on the big screen in the square. The birthday video was a gift from her fans to celebrate her big day and was played for the public at the digital billboard located in Bukit Bintang.
As shown in the video, fans screamed to attract the Siti’s attention, and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to the icon as she walked through the huge crowd surrounding her. Netizens commented how lucky the people who stumbled into her were, as it was almost impossible to get close to the 46-year-old. Others expressed their disappointment as they missed the initial announcement of the celebration at Bukit Bintang.
