Last month, it was announced that K-pop girl group Billlie (빌리), formerly known as Mystic Rookies, would be performing in Malaysia later this year in February at JioSpace Petaling Jaya. Ticket sales went live in mid-December, and Billlie’s fans, known as Belllie’ve, expressed excitement and looked forward to seeing the seven-member group perform live.
Unfortunately, that day may have to come a little later. It has now been confirmed that several of their scheduled concerts, including the one in Malaysia, have been cancelled. Here are the details:

In an official statement released by Studio PAV Asia Pacific earlier today (Thursday, 9th January), the organiser informed fans that Billlie’s upcoming concerts in Bangkok (11th February), Jakarta (13th February), and Kuala Lumpur (15th February) have all been cancelled. However, no reason was provided for the cancellations.
“This decision was not made lightly, as we truly wanted to share the magic of this tour with all of you. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to proceed as planned. We sincerely apologise for the disappointment and thank you for your understanding. Belllie’ve, your love and support mean everything to us, and we look forward to creating more magical memories with you in the future,” the company wrote.
Those who have already purchased tickets through the KPOPTICKETS website will receive refunds within 7 to 15 business days. After learning of the announcement, fans expressed disappointment over the cancellations. Many were frustrated at not being able to see the idol group perform in concert, while others were curious about the reasons behind this unexpected turn of events.

Scrolling through Twitter, fans speculated that the cancellations were likely due to poor marketing and ticket sales, as there was little to no promotion of the concerts from the organiser’s side. Some even suggested that the company had failed to secure a single sponsorship for the Southeast Asia tour. Those on Instagram, however, proposed that the cancellation of the Thailand concert was likely linked to the recent human trafficking case involving a Chinese actor.
Regardless of what the reason may be, it’s clear that Belllie’ves were disappointed by the announcement. Let’s hope that everyone receives their refunds on time and that Billlie will one day hold a concert in KL.
