YG Entertainment released a statement addressing the reports, saying, “We cannot confirm this as it is their private life.” With that in mind, it can be assumed that the rumours will remain as such until either the idol or the “Project Silence” star confirms their relationship.
How did fans react to the reports of them possibly dating? Thankfully for the two stars, most were very supportive, saying they wouldn’t be entirely surprised if the rumours were true, as Minho and Joohyun have been close friends for a few years after meeting on the set of “Seoul Vibe”. Others criticised the Korean media for spreading the rumours, suggesting that it might be part of a plan to tarnish the singer’s image as he is soon to be discharged from military service. This came after reports claiming that he had been manipulating his attendance during his time in the military, which YG has denied.
