When international stars visit Malaysia, we want them to feel welcomed and happy. Unfortunately, Hong Kong actor Ng Siu Hin (吳肇軒) recently shared that his stay in Malaysia hasn’t been the best so far.
The star, currently in Kuala Lumpur to film an upcoming movie, recently shared about his “bad luck” with hotels on Threads. According to Siu Hin, he had to change hotel rooms three times since coming to Malaysia last week. He shared that the hotel was great overall and that his first room was good – but only for a few days. Unfortunately, he realised there were bed bugs, so he had to switch to the new room.
However, since he had to change his room at such short notice, he was given a somewhat deserted room. Siu Hin said that upon entering the room, he noticed it was dark and gloomy but thought nothing of it. Unfortunately, the bathroom had other issues, like the shower and toilet malfunctioning. Due to these problems, the 30-year-old planned to ask for another room the next day and prepared to go to bed – only to realise another chilling problem with the room.
Siu Hin said that he suddenly felt uncomfortable during the night and got goosebumps just lying on his bed. The actor even shockingly admitted that he felt a presence right beside him. He also said he heard strange noises from the bathroom as if someone was stumbling inside. Siu Hin then tried to fall asleep, but because of a broken bedside lamp that wouldn’t turn off, he had trouble sleeping until the morning.
The actor said he felt restless, so he reached out to a psychic friend, who seemingly confirmed a presence in the room and urged him to switch rooms. Siu Hin said that the filming crew gracefully helped him to find another room in the hotel but admitted that the room also had another issue. After switching rooms for a third time, the actor ended his story, jokingly saying he must have the worst luck.
It must have been a tiring week for Siu Hin – but hopefully, that is the end of his bad luck while in Malaysia, and the rest of the trip will be nothing but good news.
