The Ordinary Debuts In Malaysia
We spent an afternoon with The Ordinary – and it was an experience filled with education and exploration around their clinical formulations and latest product launches! Not only did we get to check out some of The Ordinary’s best sellers, but Liam Hislop, the Education Associate Manager at DECIEM, brought excitement to the crowd as she showed us that there’re nothing ordinary about The Ordinary.
She delved into the brand’s philosophy and shared exciting insights about The Ordinary’s latest products, such as their reformulated most-loved product – Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5; and their strongest retinoid to power up your P.M – Retinal 0.2% Emulsion.

‘Game Of Life – The Movie’ Launch & Press Conference
Bridging the worlds of e-sports and cinema, the production for the highly-anticipated film, “Game of Life” – inspired by the world of Mobile Legends – has officially commenced! The movie will take audiences on an exhilarating journey through the remarkable story of Muhammad Faris Zakaria, popularly known as Soloz, Malaysia’s e-sports sensation.
The launch of the film was officiated by the Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), Dato’ Kamil Othman, at the Connexion Conference & Events Centre, Bangsar South. Also present at the event were cast members Hun Haqeem, Ikmal Amry, Jaa Suzuran, Jiha Sham, and Hafeez Mikail. Award-winning director Syafiq Yusof will direct the movie, while Key Billions will serve as the production company.

Monki Raya Capsule Collection
Get Raya-ready with Monki’s latest festive collection! We headed to Monki at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to check out its latest collection which is perfect for Raya. The collection features some trendy pieces, including crochet tops and maxi skirts that are great during the festive season and beyond!
Besides checking out what Monki had to offer, we also got to flex our creative side by joining a batik workshop held right in the Monki store! The workshop was presented by the team from Teja Studio, who taught us everything we needed to know on creating our very own batik artwork.

Tissot ‘Focus Forward’ Pop-Up @ The Starhill KL

Malaysia Airlines x Man U Partnership Announcement
Malaysia Airlines took the next big step in its high-flying career by signing a strategic, multi-year partnership with legendary football club Manchester United to become its official commercial airline. Malaysia Airlines is set to extend its well-known Malaysian hospitality to Manchester United’s global community of over 1.1 billion fans and followers by leveraging co-branded marketing initiatives to increase brand recognition among a diverse global audience, while providing quality service and immersive experiences associated with both brands.
Victoria Timpson, Manchester United’s CEO of Alliances and Partnerships, not only formalised the partnership between the football team and the airline, but also brought two Manchester United legends, Patrice Evra and Wes Brown, to the ceremony.

Malaysia Airlines also announced three new direct destinations – Malé, the Maldives (MLE), Da Nang, Vietnam (DAD), and Chiang Mai, Thailand (CNX). The carrier also unveiled its new A330neo Business Class and Economy Class seats as part of a fleet modernization plan, with the first aircraft scheduled to arrive in Q3 2024.
