Besides the latest drops from a fashion label, the internet also looks forward to seeing their favourite celebrities at the fashion show. French luxury label Dior recently held their fashion show in conjunction with Paris Fashion Week – and as expected, the show was a star-studded event with big names from all over the world gathering under one roof.
With so many celebrities together, fans eagerly anticipate even the tiniest interaction between those in attendance. Two stars that many look forward to seeing during the event were K-pop sensations Jisoo (지수) from BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) and Mingyu (민규) from SEVENTEEN (세븐틴). Given their ‘it-girl’ and ‘it-boy’ status in K-pop, many were waiting to see the two together in one frame.
At first, it was hard to spot Jisoo and Mingyu amongst the crowd because of the many photographers and journalists around them. However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed the brief yet adorable interaction the two idols shared at the event. In one clip shared by a fellow show attendee, Jisoo was chatting and laughing with a man whom fans quickly identified as Mingyu due to his outfit.
The three-second clip immediately sent fans into a frenzy and quickly became a trending topic on social media. Despite the two being K-pop idols, it was rare to see an interaction between Jisoo and Mingyu, so fans were happy to get even the smallest of “crumbs” from the Dior show. Many were also glad the two felt comfortable enough to chat with each other.
The Dior show marks Mingyu’s first attendance at Paris Fashion Week – but even the label admitted the star was a crowd favourite during the event. As the brand ambassador, Jisoo’s attendance at the Dior was also highly anticipated and helped trend the term ‘human Dior’ during the show. Jisoo’s interaction with Spanish singer Rosalia also became a hot topic during the show as fans noted that the two have swapped contacts.
