Working in a good environment is one thing but working for a good boss is even better. Some have been fortunate enough to have worked with kind and considerate employers who value and support them. Others, however, were either traumatised or had to clean up the mess left by their boss.
Thankfully for these employees of a popular cabinet company at Plaza Arkadia, Kuala Lumpur, their boss has been nothing but generous to them. Apart from their usual salary and annual Chinese New Year Angpau, they also received an extra bonus from him in the form of a fun game.
Who would’ve guessed that they would receive something like this from their employer? The boss of M&J Kitchen decided to treat his employees with more than just the regular red envelopes. In a video posted on Xiaohongshu over the weekend, the boss, known as Michael, can be seen arranging RM6,000 worth of banknotes on a large round dining table to play a game.
The rules were simple: each player had to scoop up as much cash as possible and place it into a bowl while blindfolded but they could only do it in one scoop. To make things a little more challenging, the staff also had to spin themselves a few times before walking to the red table. Since there were a lot of banknotes on the table, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the employees managed to scoop up a good amount of money for themselves.
The video certainly caught the attention of jobseekers as most of the comments consist of netizens asking whether the generous boss is currently hiring. Judging by the viral clip, we can say that these employees are truly fortunate to have a boss as generous as Michael. Who knows, they might even receive a bigger bonus next year!
